Installing ACO HexaLine is straightforward — just follow these steps:
- Excavate & Plan – Dig a trench and fix a string line to determine alignment and final channel height.
- Lay a Firm Base – Create a concrete bed (300mm wide x 100mm deep) to provide a stable foundation. Keep the outlet pipe clean.
- Start at the Outlet – Begin laying the channels from the outlet, ensuring they are level and aligned using the string line. Seal joints if needed.
- Lay Channels – Continue placing channels, working away from the outlet. Slide-fit them together for a secure connection.
- Pavement & Backfilling – Pour 100mm concrete around channel sides, allowing space for pavement. Ensure the pavement finish is 2-3mm above the grate.
- Brickslot Integration (if applicable) – Install pavers, ensuring a 2-3mm slot for proper drainage. For traffic areas, bond pavers to the concrete haunch to prevent damage.
